The Commonwealth Games 2026 are happening from 23rd July and will continue till 2nd August 2026 in Glasgow, Scotland. Athletes from 74 countries are competing in 10 sports. The athletes keep on showcasing their skills and are winning medals continuously.

Note: This tally is measured as per the number of gold medal wins by country that is why Malaysia sits above South Africa even after winning 8 medals and Jamaica sits above New Zealand due to its 2 gold medals.

India did not open its account on Day 1 and Day 3. Day 5 has been India’s best day so far, with six medals coming mainly from weightlifting and para athletics.
Records India Has Already Broken At Commonwealth Games 2026
Mirabai Chanu has won a gold medal in the women’s 48kg weightlifting event which completed a hat trick of Commonwealth Games titles for her. Rishikanta Singh has set a new Games record in the snatch lift and also won silver in the men’s 60kg category.
